How to Wear Blue Mascara
As with many other makeup products, colored mascara can enhance eye color and provide a fun alternative to the typical black or brown mascara. Colored mascara is available in a wide variety of colors, including purple, green and blue. Blue mascara comes in many different shades, from bright blue to dark indigo, and is available at most grocery stores, drug stores and beauty supply stores. Decide the desired effect of blue mascara. A light-blue shade can subtly enhance eye color, while a bright-turquoise is a real attention-getter. For daily wear, look for a darker shade of blue or if you have blue eyes, one that closely resembles your eye color.

Wear a neutral shade of eye shadow to balance the blue mascara, such as a light-pink or beige. If you have blue eyes, find a pale-blue eye shadow to really make the eye color stand out.

Use a blue eyeliner along the upper lashes to blend with the blue mascara and create a more cohesive look.

Apply one coat of mascara and allow to dry fully. If a more dramatic look is desired, add a second coat. Let dry.

Curl eyelashes with an eyelash curler to show the full effects of the blue mascara and to really make eyes pop.
