If you suffer from hormonal pimples, it may seem like there's nothing you can do about it, but that's simply not true. While it's not possible to completely cure yourself of ever getting a pimple, you can get rid of a lot of them by treating the causes of pimples, keeping your skin mostly clear all year long.

1
Avoid dairy products. Eating dairy can cause hormonal acne and many other health problems. Cow milk includes hormones, such as growth hormone, which can unbalance your hormones and lead to acne. If you do consume dairy products, consider buying organic dairy products, which are produced by cows that haven't been given growth hormones.

2
Trade milk chocolate for dark chocolate. Dark chocolate reduces inflammation, which causes acne, while milk chocolate increases it. Be sure to read the label carefully. Many brands of dark chocolate will still contain dairy. Opt for a non-dairy option.

3
Don't eat foods with saturated or processed fats. These foods will increase the levels of arachidonic levels in your body, and they will compete with omega-3 fats. This will cause inflammation, and consequently acne.
-
4
Eat more fruits and vegetables. Natural, wholesome foods help keep your body balanced, your antioxidant levels up and inflammation down, which all leads to less acne.
-
5
Balance your hormones with the foods you eat. Eat more foods with omega-3 fats, such as flaxseed. Consume fewer foods with sugar. Incorporate more soy in to your diet.
-
6
Exercise. Physical activity will improve your body's insulin function, which will reduce hormonal breakouts.
