How to Get Rid of Too Much Chlorine in a Pool
The proper balance of chlorine in your swimming pool allows clean, safe and comfortable swimming. Too much chlorine in your swimming pool can be harmful to both the swimmers and pool itself. An over-chlorinated pool can fade and breakdown the swimming pool liner, corrode the filtration system, as well as irritate swimmer's eyes and skin. Run your filter two to three days to get rid of chlorine. Run your filter and wait it out. After testing your water, if you discover your chlorine level is high, run your filter eight to 10 hours per day for two to three days and then test again.

If you can not wait days for the chlorine level to fall, add 4 to 6 oz. of sodium bisulfite per 10,000 gallons of water in your pool. Sodium bisulfite is normally sold as a granular and is often labeled: PH- (pH minus). Run your filter eight to 10 hours per day to circulate the water and chemicals.

Test your water. Use water testing strips (found at any pool store) to test your chlorine and pH levels. Too high pH indicates too much chlorine in your water. 7.3 to 7.5 is the optimal pH level and 1.0 to 3.0 is ideal for a chlorine reading.

For the most accurate reading, test your pool at least four times per week.
Do not allow swimming if the chlorine level is over 3.0 as it can cause eye and skin irritation

I took the pool water and put it in a well but I realized that it has to much chlorine how can I get ride of of it because I need to use the water well fr the garden to water trees and plans, is there an answer for my question please.
