How to Leave REC Mode on a Sony Cyber-shot

The Sony Cyber-shot Digital Camera H20/B is a compact camera with a high-quality zoom, an Intelligent Auto (iAuto) mode for adjusting light for pictures and the ability to capture HD-quality film in an MPEG4 format. When recording video, you can view specific Shooting mode menu settings to help you adjust the quality of your filming to meet your preferences. For example, you can turn off the REC mode, which is used for shooting continuous shots at one time.

      Press the "ON/OFF (Power)" button located on the top of the Sony Cyber-shot to turn the camera on.

      Turn the dial on the top of the camera to the "Movie Mode" icon, which appears as a strip of film. You must be in this mode to access the Shooting mode menu.

      Press the "MENU" button to the right of the display screen. The Menu page will then be shown on the display screen.

      Press the "down" button on the camera to move to the "REC Mode" menu option. Press the "right" button to turn REC mode off. Make sure the mode reads "Off" on the display screen.
