How to Create a Store Bitmap Access Icon
Creating a bitmap icon for online store access utilizes the same processes as creating a desktop icon for a Windows application. Microsoft Windows operating systems all include a simple graphics-editing program installed by default. Creating an icon in Microsoft Paint is a quick and easy task. Microsoft Paint will enable the user to create icons and other bitmaps without downloading or installing additional software. Create a bitmap picture in the Microsoft Paint application and save the file with the icon file extension (*.ico).
