Instructions

    • 1

Fold the seeded paper into a cone with the bottom completely closed. Do this by pulling opposite corners of the paper in towards each other and rolling the bottom of the cone tighter than the top.

    • 2

Glue the edges of the seed paper together so that they stay in a cone shape.

    • 3

Cut off each paper hydrangea from its bunch with the individual wire still attached. Cut enough for one for each party favor.

    • 4

Punch the ribbon paper hole punch through the top of the cone where the two corners meet. The ribbon paper hole punch should punch two small holes a couple centimeters apart.

    • 5

Push the wire from the hydrangea flower though one of the holes and back out the other hole. Twist the end of the wire to the bottom of the flower. Twisting the end of the wire will hide it.

    • 6

Fill the cone with a small party favor of your liking. Good ideas to fill the cone with are plantable seeds, sunflower seeds, candy, rose petals or flowers.

Tips & Warnings

  • Tell guests to plant the paper cone in rich soil. Hydrangea flowers should start sprouting in a few days.
