1
Remove any objects from the surface of the concrete slab and sweep up all surface debris.
-
2
Fill a garden sprayer with a concrete degreaser and pump the sprayer to build up pressure. Spray the degreaser directly onto the floor in a single, even coating and allow it to break up stains for 20 minutes.

-
3
Vigorously scrub the degreaser into the concrete slab to remove all traces of grease and oil, then rinse away with a garden hose.
-
4
After the surface has dried, pour the concrete primer into a paint tray and roll a single coat directly onto the concrete surface. Allow the primer to dry overnight before continuing.
-
5
Mix the self-leveling compound in a plastic bucket with water in the recommended ratio and scoop it onto the low or uneven spots on the slab.
-
6
Smooth over the concrete gently with the flat trowel. Allow the concrete to self-level and dry by not walking or driving over the surface for at least 30 hours.
