Neopets is a virtual animal kingdom where members of the virtual community interact through message boards, guilds, neomail and key quests. Users come together to collect rare items, foods and weapons. Neopets allows members to feed, house, clothe and play with their pets, not to mention customize their own shops, user lookups, pet pages and guilds with their own graphics. Creating Neopets graphics is simple and easy, especially because Neopets allows noncommercial use for hundreds of images.

Choose a picture that you want to use for the graphic. These images may be cropped and added together in order to create a new image. These may be used on the Neopets website. If you are skilled in image-editing programs, you may also consider drawing your own images. Free images can be found on the Neopets website in Pet Central under "Downloadables" (see Resources).

Download the image that you wish to use. Locate the image on your computer and open it in an image-editing program. Add shapes like stars and other patterns. Text may also be added for banners and other graphics. If your image-editing program is capable, layer effects may be added for dimension.

Save the image as a .png, .gif or .jpg file. Upload the image to a free image-hosting website (see Resources).

Copy the direct link to the image (on the image-hosting website) and post it in between the quotations in the following code: <img src="">

Copy the code created in Step 4. Post the code to your user look-up, guild layout, pet page or shop. Save your changes and preview.
