How to Remove Themedata.Xml from Word 2007

Themedata.xml is a computer file that refers to visual theme settings in the Microsoft Word 2007 productivity program. Information about the visual theme changes you've made to Word 2007 will be stored in this file. If you remove this file from your computer, you will undo any changes you've made to Word 2007's theme and revert the look of the program back to the way it was when you first installed it on your hard drive.

Instructions

1. Click "Start."

2. Click inside the box that reads "Search programs and files."

3. Type "Themedata." This will return a listing for the Themedata.xml file on your computer.

4. Right-click on the "Themedata" icon on screen. Click "Open File Location."

5. Right-click on the "Themedata.xml" file. Hold down the "Shift" key and click the "Delete" option. Click "Yes" to remove Themedata.xml from not only Microsoft Word 2007, but from your computer as well.
