A website hosting company will provide you with the option to set up one or more email accounts for your site. Your new email address will include your web address as part of the name, providing you with an easy way to advertise your site each time a message is sent. It also gives your site a more professional look. Setting up website email is a quick and painless process.

      Log in to your website account and navigate to your control panel. Scroll to your "Email Accounts" icon and click on it.

      A page will open allowing you to set up a new account or manage an existing account. To set up a new account, fill out the form provided. It will ask for the desired email address and password. For the address webmaster@yourwebsite.com, type "webmaster" in the form. The wizard will automatically fill in the rest. Type in a password and retype it to confirm it. Select a mailbox quota (or data limit), if offered, and click "Create Account."

      The new account will show up in a list on the page. Explore some of the options available, including accessing the account. Log in to the account using the password just created. Some web hosts offer more than one webmail provider. Choose one and click on it.

      Customize the settings. Options may include automatically forwarding your messages to another account, setting up autorespond messages, changing your password, altering the look of your inbox and updating your connection information.
