Dashwire is a computer program that allows you to sync just about any make and model of cell phone to your computer. This programs backs up all of your phone data, ranging from pictures to text messages onto the computer. If you have backed up messages from one phone onto Dashwire it is possible to copy the text messages to a different cell phone.

Instructions

      Launch the Dashwire software. Either double-click the desktop icon or select "Start," then "All Programs," and choose "Dashwire."

      Plug the USB data cable into the USB port on the phone, then insert the other end of the cable into the USB port on your computer. The cell phone is automatically detected by the program. The information from the currently connected phone is imported alongside the data from the previous cell phone.

      Select the "Text Message" tab in the top-middle of the screen. A list of all the created and received text messages appears.

      Select the "Text Message Options" pull-down menu. Choose "Sync Messages" from the pull-down menu and the messages from the other phone are uploaded to your cell phone.
