How to Upload My Photo and Change My Hair Color

Try on hair colors, styles and even makeup to see what looks good on you before you make a commitment. It's simple and won't take long.

Instructions

1. Take a digital picture of yourself or have a friend do it. Make sure the picture is a close up on your face, called a headshot. It should include your face, hair and your neck. The photo should be clear and your hair shouldn't be in your face.

2. Upload the image to your computer using the cable that came with your camera. Connect the cable to your computer and the computer will recognize that you have plugged in your camera and use your photo software to ask if you want to upload your images. Click "yes" to upload the photos you took.

3. Log on to a virtual makeover website and upload your photo using the tools on the website. Choose from many hairstyles and colors, and apply them to your photo. You'll be able to see what you would look like with a variety of hair colors.

4. Print a picture of the color you like and take it to the salon to show your stylist exactly what you want.
