1
Choose a foundation that best matches your skin tone. When looking for foundation, look for the words 'sensitive skin,' 'noncomedogenic' or 'hypoallergenic.' These are ideal for sensitive skin because they do not contain harsh ingredients that irritate skin or clog pores. Choose a foundation with at least SPF 15 to protect sensitive skin from burning when outside. Beauty-Advices.com suggests looking for a silicone-based foundation since it rarely causes irritation to skin.

3
Blend into the skin, working from the center of the face outwards toward the hairline and jaw. Make sure to blend past the jaw and up into the hairline to avoid a mask-like appearance.

4
Set the foundation using a fragrance-free translucent powder. Dip the puff into the powder and tap onto the side of the jar to reduce excess. Pat onto the face around areas that are prone to shine, especially the forehead, nose and chin.

5
Remove makeup at the end of the day using a sensitive or dry skin accepted remover. Avoid using a cleanser that contains alcohol, so a creamy product works best to remove dirt and makeup while keeping the skin moist and clear.
