How to Remove Yellow Stains Left by Oxyclean
Although the stain remover Oxiclean can remove stains from clothing and other types of fabric, a slightly yellow stain may occur due to the cleaner's hydrogen peroxide ingredient. In order to remove the stain from the material, you can use natural, acidic household items to remove the yellow stain, and are safer to use on fabric than commercial bleaching agents. To avoid further damage, it is important to spot test all cleaning products prior to using it to ensure the desired results. Does this Spark an idea?

Remove Stains with Hydrogen Peroxide

6
Pour 1 tbsp of baking soda into the mixing bowl, and dip a clean washcloth into the mixture. According to Delaney, baking soda is a natural stain lightener that is safe to use on clothing and other types of fabric.

Gently blot the yellow stain until it is saturated with the mixture.
