      Launch Adobe Acrobat from the Start menu. Please note this software is essential to creating a certificate in PFX format. If you do not have a copy yet, you can download it from Adobe's website (see Resources).

      Click on the "Advanced" tab and select "Security Settings."

      Click to choose "Digital IDs" to your left. Hit "Add ID."

      Click to choose "A new digital ID I want to create now." Hit "Next." Browse to navigate to a secured location where you wish to save the "Digital ID." Hit "Next."

      Click to choose "New PKCS#12 digital ID file" to save the encryption data in a PFX file. This will ensure that you can send and share the file with other authorized users.
