How to Put Component Speakers in a Gaming Chair

Import audio into your gaming chair with RCA audio cables.

Gaming chairs are rocking chairs that sit close to the ground and have speakers built into the back. You can hear the audio directly from your video game system instead of from across the room. Hooking up the component speakers in your gaming chair is a simple task.

Things You'll Need

• Gaming chair
• RCA audio cables

Instructions

1. Disconnect the RCA red and white cables running into your television from the gaming device. Leave the yellow video cable connected to the TV.

2. Plug the red and white RCA cables you just disconnected into the "Audio In" ports on the gaming chair. These ports are usually located on the lower side of the chair, next to the seat.

3. Power on the gaming chair, video game system and the television. Switch the TV to the "Video" input and the gaming video appears on the screen.

4. Adjust the audio of the video games system with the built-in audio control that's right next to the audio connection ports. The audio from the video game now plays through the component speakers in the gaming chair.
