How to Join the Black Expressions Book Club
The Black Expressions Book Club highlights fiction and non-fiction by and about African-Americans. The club’s offerings range from romances to biographies to other genres. By joining the book club, you can be rewarded with a few bonuses such as free and discounted books.

Go to the Black Expressions Book Club website (see References). The website has a list of tabs down the left hand side for recent arrivals, top 100 bestsellers, authors to know, and other categories.

Pick four books on the website and add them (one at a time) to your shopping cart. Four books are offered as part of the trial membership. As of June 2010, these four initial books are priced at 4 for $2, plus shipping and handling. After adding four titles to your shopping cart, the website will give you the options to either continue shopping or complete enrollment.

Press the yellow button, "Complete Enrollment," in the lower right-hand corner of the page. You will need to provide a credit or debit card number, a U.S. address, email address and phone number. You can choose to receive promotional information by email or snail mail.

Check the membership agreement box after you have read and agree to the membership terms. Press the yellow "Continue" button in the lower right-hand corner.

Tips & Warnings
The Black Expressions Book Club offers a 20-day free trial. If you are not satisfied with the club, you may return the introductory package (the initial four books) within 20 days of receiving them, at the club's expense. The club will cancel your membership. You will owe nothing, and the club will refund any payments made.
