How to Start a Scrapbook for a Wedding
If you're going to be getting married soon or have a friend or loved one who will be walking down the aisle in the coming weeks or months, it may be ideal to start putting together a wedding scrapbook. There are several elements that should be added to the scrapbook to make it memorable.

Look for a photo album that will capture the personal style of the bride and groom. Choosing a scrapbook that has the wedding colors on its cover is ideal as well as books with an engraved font that is similar to the style used on the wedding invitations or place cards.
Be sure to select a book that is large enough to hold all of the items you want to include in the scrapbook.
Add separators to the book in order to create a sequential story with pictures if separators are not already a part of the scrapbook. The separators can be clear so that you can add items like dried flower petals or lace to them, or they can be created in the colors of the wedding. Or, try scrapbook paper.

Decide on the photos that will be included in the scrapbook. Gather pictures from the bride and groom as well as the parents of the engaged couple in order to compile photos that will bring back fond memories for your gift recipients.
Place pictures of the bride and groom as children in the front of the scrapbook as well as snapshots of certain milestones in the bride's or groom's life, such as graduation or a Sweet Sixteen party. Of course, if the couple grew up together, it would be ideal to put a few photos of the couple together as children in the beginning of the scrapbook.
Fill the next section of the scrapbook with photographs of the couple during the dating phase of their relationship. Pictures of trips the couple took together, parties they attended or candid photos of them cooking or laughing together would fall into this category.
Include pictures of the actual wedding ceremony and reception in the last section of the scrapbook. The final part can be filled with both professional and candid shots of the bride and groom exchanging rings, kissing or feeding each other cake at the reception.

Distribute heartfelt phrases and stickers throughout the scrapbook. Local craft stores sell stickers that contain images of wedding bells or bridal veils, which can decorate the pages of the book. Stickers that contain some of the couple's favorite things---such as the bride's favorite flower or equipment used in the groom's favorite sport---will make the scrapbook more meaningful.
Adorn the pages with sentiments such as "true love is forever" or "the happiest day of my life" throughout the book to describe the pictures and items you've used to create this special gift.
