Grip the textured part of the front of the drill with one hand and hold it steady.

Use your other hand to twist the tip of the drill--the smaller portion just in front of the textured part--counter-clockwise. This will the drill-bit opening and allow you to insert the drill bit into the drill.

Insert the drill bit into the drill opening.

Twist the tip clockwise to tighten the clamps down around the drill bit. Continue to twist until the drill bit is held in place securely.
