How to Use a Diaper Genie II

How to Fill

Remove plastic ring from refill by pulling the tab. Pull out approximately 18 inches of the plastic lining and tie a knot in the end.

Remove lid from Diaper Genie II. Place refill in top of Diaper Genie and push knotted end of the lining through the clamp.

Put lid back on the pail by pushing down until you hear it click. You are now ready to use the Diaper Genie II.
How to Dispose of Diapers

Tightly roll soiled diaper and use the tabs on the side of the diaper to secure it. This prevents the diaper from tearing the Diaper Genie II lining.

Lift lid and push diaper through the clamp. Make sure the clamp closes completely.

Use until unit is filled or the black line on the lining is visible. This line indicates that the lining is almost gone and it is time to insert an new refill.
How to Empty

Open the Diaper Genie II by pushing button located near the center of the pail. The pail will unfold in half. Leave pail resting on the floor.

Pull lining from the top half of the pail and run it through the cutter located beneath the clamp.

Tie a knot at the top of the bag containing the soiled diapers and throw out.

Tie a knot in the bottom of the lining in the Diaper Genie II and close the pail. The Diaper Genie II is now ready to use again.

Tips & Warnings
Empty the Diaper Genie II often.
Clean diaper pail occasionally to maintain freshness.
