How to Create a Fieldset in PDF
A "fieldset" is a grouping of related data-input fields in a form. Normally, fieldset boundaries enclose a variable (question) and a group of responses (for example "Gender: select Male or Female"). In Web development, the term "fieldset" refers to an HTML tag that groups similar variables into a set. Fieldsets may be created in Portable Document Format (PDF) documents using the Adobe LiveCycle Designer PDF design tool included with the Adobe Acrobat Professional suite of products. Adobe Designer is installed by default when Adobe Professional is installed. In Adobe Designer, the tool used to create a fieldset is the "Subform" tool.
