How to Convert PDF Files to JPEG or Tif
Adobe Systems designed "Portable Document Format" or PDF as a convenient way to make electronic document interchanges. Converting a PDF file into a JPEG or TIF image allows a user to insert pages from the original file into a PowerPoint presentation or post on a website.Tagged Image File Format (TIF) recognized by the extension ".tif" or ".tiff" permits you to save high-quality images, but typically produces large files. The compressed JPEG format achieves reasonable graphics quality, but with much smaller files.

In Adobe Acrobat

Start Adobe Acrobat on your computer.

Use keys "Ctrl" and "O" or the program menu "File" and "Open" to open the target PDF file.

Clck the Adobe menu "File" and choose the option "Save As."

Select "JPEG" or "TIF" in the box ""Save as type" and click the "Save" button to convert the PDF file into an image file.
Using Web-Based Service

Navigate to the File Converter webpage (see Resources) using your Web browser.

Choose "JPEG" or "TIF" as your output format under the "Conversion Settings."

Enter a desired dpi (dot per inch) resolution for the output image in the box "Resolution." Note that the default value of 300 is sufficient in most cases.

Click "Browse" to find the PDF file on your computer.

Click "Upload & Convert" and wait for the message "Your document has been successfully converted."

Right-click on the image file name with the extension ".jpg" or ".tif" and choose "Save Target As" to save the image on your computer.

Tips & Warnings
Each page in a multipage PDF will be saved as a separate JPEG or TIF image.
