      Turn off the water flow going to the ice maker. The valve for this can be found on the back of the refrigerator.

      Remove the old ice maker by unscrewing the two mounting bolts at its base and pulling it out.

      Gently unplug the ice maker's power cord and water hose. Some water will drain from the hose. Having a towel on the floor is a good idea.

      Plug the power cord and water hose into your new Samsung ice maker and slide it into its slot.

      Replace the mounting bolts and the base and screw them in tightly.
