If you've had your bangs cut recently and the hair stylist went a little too short, waiting for them to grow back may seem like it's taking forever. Hair grows on average one-half inch per month-- an excruciatingly slow pace when you're unhappy with your do. Fortunately, there are a few at home remedies you can try to stimulate bang growth.

Massage your scalp daily to stimulate the follicles. Gently knead area around the bangs, including the temples and forehead in order to increase blood flow and promote follicle activity.

Try taking vitamins that aid in hair growth. Biotin, lysine, vitamin B, E, and A all contribute to healthy hair growth.

Although this may seem counter intuitive, cutting or dusting, one-eighth of an inch of the bangs every few weeks, prevents split ends from forming which helps hair growth.

You can also eat foods that promote hair growth. These include greens, nuts, salmon, tuna, bananas, wheat bran, lettuce, and brown rice. All of these foods are rich in vitamins necessary for hair growth.

Condition your hair regularly. This will help prevent hair breakage and split ends from forming, which contribute to decreased hair length.
