Instructions

    • 1

Hold the false eyelashes up to your eye to see if the lashes extend past your natural eye. If so, count how many individual lashes extend past your eye.

    • 2

Use a pair of small, sharp scissors to trim the number of extra lashes from the end of the false eyelashes. Cut them off the lash line entirely.

    • 3

Hold the lashes back up to your eye to see how much needs to be trimmed from the lash line. You want the false eyelashes to extend past your own eyelashes and create a full look. Use a fingernail to get an approximate measurement of how much to trim from the lashes.

    • 4

Trim a small amount from each individual lash, varying the length of each lash. The lashes should look shorter towards the inner corner of the eye and longer towards the outer corner of the eye. Remember that you can always trim more off the lashes but you cannot add more back on, so trim cautiously.

Hold the eyelashes back up to your eye to check your work. Make any additional trims as necessary.
