Go to a free printable certificates website such as 123certificates.com (see Resources).

Choose the type of certificate you want to create. You can choose to create certificates for school, sports, birthdays, holidays and formal events. Click on the type of certificate you wish to create.

Search through style templates to find the template you want to use for your certificate, then click on the template you want to use.

Type in the information you want the certificate to include. You can type in the certificate title, the certificate receiver's name, the sub-title, the achievement, the final praise, your name, date and class.

Choose the type of border you want on your certificate from the drop-down menu, then click "Make it!" to create your certificate. You will be taken to a web page with your certificate on it. Click "File" at the top of your web browser, then select "Print" to print your certificate award.
