Acidity is a commonly experienced medical condition wherein the stomach overproduces hydrochloric acid, which causes an upset stomach and stomach pains. Some frequently experienced symptoms of acidity include heartburn, constipation and abdominal pains. There are, however, some simple cures that may balance out the effects of acidity and lead to relief.

Monitor your diet. Acidity can often be caused by eating spicy foods, so try to keep your diet to a low level of spiciness when experiencing acidity. In addition, a body might not respond well to a particular food. Keep track of what you are eating and how that corresponds to acidity symptoms.
