How to Change Songs in Magic Mic

"Magic Mic" is the umbrella name for a line of microphones made by Korean company Entertech, that include karaoke audio and video data contained within the microphone themselves. This makes the devices extremely portable and able to be used as karaoke machines. However, the compact nature of Magic Mic means that its menus can be hard to navigate, but there are a couple of methods to change songs on the device.

Things You'll Need

• Television with A/V inputs
• Songbook for Magic Mic

Instructions

Onscreen Menu

1. Connect your Magic Mic to the Audio/Video ports of your television. (The red and white plugs can also be connected to the "Aux" port of a stereo system.)

2. Turn on the Magic Mic by pressing the "Power" button.

3. Wait a few seconds for the text "SEL" to appear on screen.

4. Press the "Up" or "Down" button to bring up a list of available songs. Scroll up and down the list using the buttons and choose your song by pressing the "Play" button.

5. Sing along as the song plays down. At the end of the song, you will be given the opportunity to select another.

Using Songbook

1. Connect your Magic Mic to the television's A/V ports and turn it on using the "Power" button.

2. Search through the song book for your Magic Mic until you find the song you wish to perform.

3. Key in the sequence of digits that appear next to the song title in your songbook.

4. Press "Play" to start the song. Skip to a new song at any point by keying in a new sequence of digits and pressing "Play."
