How to Clean Porsche Carpet

It is important to clean a Porsche's carpet to maintain its value and appearance.

Porsche is a luxury, high performance car brand that was founded in 1931. According to Live PR, in 2009, Luxury Institute rated Porsche as the "Best of the Best" in luxury vehicles, and in 2006, Porsche was awarded the title of the "Most Prestigious Automobile Brand" by Luxury Institute. Because of the cost and value of a Porsche, it's important to properly maintain and clean the vehicle, including the carpets. If the carpets are improperly cleaned it can ruin the carpet, and lower the value of a Porsche.

Things You'll Need

• Vacuum
• Porsche Car Care Velour Cleaner
• Carpet brush

Instructions

1. Vacuum the carpets to remove any dust.

2. Spray a small amount of Porsche Car Care Velour Cleaner on the carpet. Use a carpet brush to work the cleaner into the carpet. Add more cleaner as needed. Continue until all of the carpets are cleaned.

3. Wet a rag with water. Dab the rag onto the carpet to remove the carpet cleaner. Rinse the rag as needed. Continue until the carpet is clean.

4. Lay a dry towel on the carpet. Push it down with your hands to blot and remove any excess moisture. Be sure the carpets are thoroughly dry.

Tips & Warnings

• Although there are many car carpet cleaners, the only carpet product approved by Porsche is Porsche Car Care Velour Cleaner.
