School Selection and Enrollment

Select an accredited on-line bartending school. Professional Bartending School offers on-line classes for bartending certification. Additionally, they are recognized by the Better Business Bureau.

Enroll in an accredited bartending school's bartending training and certification program. The most basic on-line bartending course with Professional Service Certification Corporation (PSCC) starts at around $50.

Pay your tuition, which is due at the time of enrollment. Most schools accept standard methods of payment such as credit card, check or Pay Pal.

Select and purchase a mix drink recipe book and training manual if one is not included with your course enrollment. Webtender is an on-line bartending supplier that sells mixed drink recipe manuals and training guides on its website.

Select and purchase a standard bartender's kit if one is not included with your enrollment in the online bartending school you select. A standard bartender's kit includes one four-prong strainer, one glass mixing cup, one 11" twisted mixing spoon, one deluxe ice scoop, one 28 ounce Boston shaker, one 1/2oz x 1oz jigger, four bottle pourers and one waiter's corkscrew.

Complete the required hours of on-line training with an accredited bartending school to be eligible to take the bartending certification exam. PSCC offers bartending mixology courses that can be completed in as little as 40 hours.

Take and pass the online certification exam, which should be offered by the your school.Upon passing the exam, you will receive your certification by mail.

Course hours and tuition will increase if you specialize in liquors or wines above what the basic bartending/mixology course teaches.
