Instructions

    • 1

Rest the sliding door unit flat on a pair of sawhorses.

    • 2

Adjust the roller wheel mechanisms at both sides of the bottom of the door unit by turning the adjustment screws found near the bottom of both edges of the door frame. Rotate the adjustment screw counterclockwise until the lower edge of the roller wheels protrudes approximately 1/8-inch beyond the edge of the door frame.

    • 3

Position the sliding door next to the patio door frame at the approximately the middle point of the door opening.

    • 4

Grasp the door at both sides of the frame and lift the door unit upward until you can insert the top of the door into the upper track channel of the door frame, then swing the base of the door inward until the roller wheels align with lower door track. Lower the door onto the track, making certain the roller wheels straddle the track.

    • 5

Adjust the roller wheel mechanisms by turning the adjustment screws set in Step 1 clockwise until the base of the sliding door frame is approximately 1/4-to-3/8-inch above the track surface. Adjust the roller wheel mechanisms equally to keep the door level, then check the door’s vertical edge with a level to verify the unit is plumb.

    • 6

Slide the door closed and check that the handle lock engages properly in the door frame. Adjust the frame lock strike, if necessary, by loosening the two screws holding the strike to the frame.
