Collecting cups and saucers is a rewarding activity. What some people think is trash is actually treasure. You can find treasures in antique cups and saucers in many places. Cups and saucers became important in early England for tea, hot chocolate and coffee. The earliest ones were made of silver in the 17th century.

1. Go to yard sales and scour the tables and boxes of old dishes. Look at all the cups and saucers. If really old ones have a trademark, get it.

2. Check the flea markets, Goodwill and any other secondhand stores.

3. Go online and check eBay and other online auctions. They have tons of antiques and dishes.

4. Stop and check antique shops. Sometimes you will find a wonderful cup and saucer hidden by itself.
