How to Set Up a Free Website for a Web Show
Thanks to the Internet, anyone with on-line access has the means to become a web show star. Finding a website host costs an annual fee, but blog hosts like Wordpress and Blogger allow you to set up a free website for your web show, with enough space to add lots of video and other multimedia.

1
Create a blog with Wordpress or Blogger. Go to their homepage and click the sign up button, then fill out their form, including your name, username, password and email address. Go to your email account and open the email sent from the host, then click the registration link to complete the process.

2
Log in to your new website and click "Templates." Browse and preview through the templates offered by the host, clicking preview for a full screen view of the design. Choose a template that reflects the nature and content of your web show. For example, a travel show would do well on a template that features pictures of exotic places, while a children's web show should have a bright, cheerful template.

3
Create a page or post with a summary describing the content of your web show and be clear on who your intended audience is. Add a biography page of yourself and/or the director, producer and stars of the show. For a more professional looking website, add photos or head shots of the cast and crew.

Add tags related to your show on the left of your dashboard under "Tags." These tags will make it easier for potential viewers to find your show through a search engine. For example, if your show is a comedy about office life, your tags might include "web show," "comedy," "humor," "funny" and "corporate office."
-
5
Create a separate page or a category for archived episodes so that new viewers and fans can easily find old episodes. Feature the latest episode of your web show prominently on the front page of your website, then move it to the archives when a new episode is ready.

Tips & Warnings
The more content you add to your website, the higher it will rank in searches. If your web show only airs weekly or monthly, keep your website fresh and up-to-date, involve your fans by regularly posting text updates, hints and questions, and encourage interaction and conversation in the comments section.
