How to Clean a Vaporizer Hose
Vaporizers are a popular tool used by smokers that heats substances without reaching the temperature of combustion, which releases a vapor that is less harmful to inhale. With constant use, vaporizers can get dirty with residue from smoke, and since this device is used for inhalation, need to be kept clean. Separate the whip from the plastic tubing. Scissors may be needed to cut the tubing from the glass. Be careful not to break the glass. Heat and prolonged use may bind the plastic to the glass, making it difficult to remove.

Use the scissors to remove any resin leftover in the whip and the screen. The screen may be left in or taken out, but if the whip needs cleaning, the screen probably does too and can be left in.

Fill a sealable plastic bag with rubbing alcohol close to the top or enough to fully submerge the whip. Place the whip into the bag and add a generous amount of salt. Zip the bag closed.

Shake the bag well, allowing the alcohol to break up the resin. Do this for a few minutes or until the glass is sufficiently clean.

Remove the whip from the bag and rinse with hot water. Any leftover resin will wash away with hot water. The hot water also helps to rinse away the alcohol. Let the whip sit to air dry.

Mix one part vinegar and one part warm water in a small container and place the hose inside, fully submerging it and allowing it to soak long enough to remove the minerals and dirt inside and outside of the hose.

Run hot water from the tap through the inside of the hose, flushing out loose minerals and resin. Once sufficiently cleaned, rinse the outside area with hot water and allow to air dry.
