Silverlight is actually a plug-in that is compatible with various Web browsers and operating systems. Silverlight Earth is a map viewer by Silverlight 1.0. The application supports satellite, road and hybrid images from Google Maps, Yahoo Maps and Microsoft Virtual Earth. You can search for any location by deep zooming. You can also find a location by entering its latitude and longitude pair.

      Click on "Google Satellite" to view live satellite images of the earth from Google.

      Click on "Google Road" to view the maps of locations you want to visit. You can zoom in and out for better views of the selected location.

      Click on "Google Topo" to see topographical maps of the locations you want to navigate.
