Instructions

    • 1

Measure your party walls with tape measure. Measure their height from the floor to the ceiling and the width. Do this for every wall that needs to be soundproofed. Measuring the walls lets you know how much acoustic foam you need.

    • 2

Cut a length from the roll of acoustic foam meeting the measurement of the width of a wall.

    • 3

Place the top corner of the length of foam into the top corner of the wall. Tack it into place with a thumbtack. Repeat this step with the other top corner of the acoustic foam.

    • 4

Tack the bottom corners of the acoustic foam length into the wall. Place a thumbtack into the center of the piece to further secure it.

    • 5

Cut another length of acoustic foam to fill in gaps that need to be soundproofed. Make sure to tack those into place as well. Repeat these steps with all the party walls that need to be soundproofed.
