How Can I Stack My Front-Loading Washer & Dryer?
Washers and dryers are time-saving inventions. The recent models even save energy and water, making it easier to wash clothes without raising the household bills dramatically. Front-loading washers and dryers also add convenience because they can be stacked, take up less space and can load more clothes than the traditional top-loading washers and dryers. Stacking the washer and dryer can take some time, but it saves space and makes loading clothes from the washer into the dryer much easier. Does this Spark an idea?

1
Lift the dryer on top of the washer. Any brand will place the dryer on top and the washer on bottom. Most dryers will require two people to lift, since these are heavy.
-
2
Secure the dryer. The kit will usually secure in the back, attaching to the washer and dryer to ensure that the dryer is stable. Check the manufacturer's instructions to ensure the kit secures in the back. Adjust the location of the dryer until it can be secured. Most kits will require the dryer to be slightly back instead of directly on top of the washer. Tighten all of the bolts fully with pliers or a screwdriver to ensure stability.

3
Run a cycle of clothes. This will test if the washer and dryer are stable while clothes are being washed. Adjustments might be needed if the washer and dryer wobble or otherwise look unstable while the cycle is running.
