How to Get Free Web Space
Advances in Web editors and improved online tools have made the Internet more accessible to the average computer user. It is now possible to obtain a variety of Web platforms for free. You can host your own website, create a website or blog with free templates, or sign up for free online storage space. There are multiple options available to create your Web presence for free.

Navigate to the "Google Accounts" sign-up page.

Type in all of the requested information, then click the "I accept. Create my account." button.

Verify your account by having a text message sent to your phone or by receiving an automated phone call, then clicking the "Send verification code" button.

Enter the verification code that you received, then click the "Verify" button.

Log in to the email account you provided during registration and click the activation link in the message from Google. This will take you to your Google account page.

Click the "More" option at the top of the page and select the "Sites" option.

Click the "Create new site" option.

Select a template and URL for your website, then type the verification code at the bottom of the screen. Click the "Create site" button when you are finished.

Edit the page and add your content to it by clicking the "Edit page" button at the top of the screen. You can also add more pages to your site by clicking the "Create page" button at the top of the screen.

Navigate to the Wordpress.com account creation page.

Create a username and password, then type in your email address. Check the box for the "Gimme a blog!" option, then click the "Next" button.

Type a name for your blog's domain, then enter a title for your blog. Choose your language and privacy settings, then click the "Sign up" button.

Check your email for the activation message from Wordpress, then click the link in that message to activate your account. The link will activate your blog, then you can enter your username and password to log in.

Click the "New Post" button at the top of the page to begin writing your blog.
Create a Windows Live account to get free online storage

Navigate to the Windows Live sign up page.

Complete all of the requested personal information, then click the "I accept" button at the bottom of the screen.

Hover over the "Windows Live" button at the top of the screen and select the "SkyDrive" option.

Click the "Add files" link, then click "My Documents" or "New Folder" to select a location for your uploaded files.

Click the "Select Documents From Your Computer" option, then locate the files that you wish to store online.

Tips & Warnings
If you are familiar with HTML code, you can create content on Wordpress or your Google site by switching to the "HTML" option in the editor software and enter the code. You will gain more control over the layout of your web page by adding your own code.
