How to Treat Underarm Odor
Severe body odor can be awkward, offensive and embarrassing. One of the primary smelly zones of the human body is the underarm, also known as the armpit, which is typically treated with the application of different varieties of deodorant. Lime Treatment

Cut a lime in half with a sharp knife.

Wipe the freshly cut fruit under your arms, making sure to squeeze slightly to really release the juice.

Keep your arms in the air, so your armpits will dry out. The citric acid in the lime juice will neutralize the basic secretions from your sweat glands, thereby neutralizing the smell.
Alum Treatment

Take a shower, washing at usual. Dry your body thoroughly with a towel.

Rub alum crystals across the skin of your underarm.

Let the powdery crystals rest on your skin for approximately 10 minutes and then wipe them away with your towel. Alum crystals or aluminum chloride is often used in deodorants and applying them directly increases their effectiveness.
Apple Vinegar Treatment

Soak a paper towel in apple cider vinegar. Wipe the paper towel across the skin of your armpit.
