1
Draw a line on the counter top with a permanent marker around the sink template provided by the manufacturer.
-
2
Using a drill, create two small pilot holes on the line you drew, one on each side of the sink. Begin cutting the sink hole at one of the pilot holes with a saber saw. Support the cut-out with a piece of wood, so the piece does not fall out when you're done. Pull out the cut-out and the supporting piece of wood with your hands once you are finished.

-
3
Carefully drop the sink into the cut-out opening. Double check that it fits snugly and that you have made your cuts correctly. Make any adjustments at this time.
-
4
Add a small amount of plumber's putty on the drain opening and push the drain assembly and washers in place. Tighten the locking nut with a wrench to connect it to the drain plumbing to the water plumbing in the home.
-
5
Feed the faucet into the openings in the sink. Connect the cold and hot water lines with a faucet and tighten the nuts with a wrench. Add a line of silicone adhesive on the bottom lip of the sink. Let the adhesive set for about 30 minutes before moving on.
-
6
Run a thin bead of caulk around the edge of the sink. Turn on the faucet and test your work.
