Instructions

    • 1

Remove sweaty shirts as soon as you can. Leaving dirty clothes on your back traps the pores and contributes to the formation of acne.

    • 2

Use a body wash in the shower that contains an ingredient called "salicylic acid." Wash your back with a loofah sponge and rinse off. Dry off with a towel.

    • 3

Spread a thin layer of cream on your back that contains either benzoyl peroxide or salicylic Acid (see Resources). Benzoyl peroxide kills the germs that cause acne and prevents new zits from forming. Salicylic acid helps loosen pores. Apply the cream every night.

    • 4

Wear an old T-shirt over the cream to keep your sheets clean at night. Acne products can cause fabrics to stain quickly.

    • 5

Wear a shirt during the day that is made of breathable natural fibers. Good fabrics include linen, cotton and silk. Avoid polyester, since it clogs pores.

    • 6

Repeat these steps daily to get rid of and prevent acne on your back.

Tips & Warnings

  • Do not pick at or scratch at the acne on your back.
