Sketch on a piece of paper a design you like. You may also want to look on the Internet for ideas. Your sketch can be anything from a basic swirl to an intricate flower---the choice is up to you.

Lay out your dress on a flat surface, in proper lighting. A dining room table or ironing board will work well.

Take your sewing chalk or pencil and hand draw the pattern onto the dress, copying your paper.

Use the fabric glue and a cotton swab to adhere each rhinestone to the dress. Allow to dry.

Sew each rhinestone in place to secure its position.
