How to Restore ATV Plastics
All terrain vehicle (ATV) enthusiasts spend weekends riding ATV's over rough ground, sometimes damaging the plastic body parts in the process. Restoring these parts yourself will save you a lot of money. Because you can't buy one replacement part without buying the whole body kit, finding a way to repair them may be the road you want to take. Remove all of the plastic from the frame of the ATV before you proceed with the restoration process. Almost anyone who owns an ATV can accomplish this job as long as they have the correct tools.

Sand the surface using the 120-grit sand paper completely. Once the entire surface is completely smooth, wipe down the plastic using a wet rag to remove all of the dust. Allow it to air-dry completely.
