Find the model and serial number of your dishwasher. You will need to know this to obtain recall information. Open the door of the dishwasher; the model and serial numbers are located just inside the tub on the left-hand side. You will also need to provide some personal information, such as phone number, address and email address, in order to schedule repairs in case your dishwasher is subject to a recall.

Visit the Maytag website. Maytag lists all recalled products on its website, including dishwashers.

Call Maytag's customer service at 1-800-544-5513 for more information and personal assistance. The customer service agents will be able to determine if your machine is affected by the recall and let you know what to do to obtain repairs or replacement.

Contact the dealer where you purchased the dishwasher. Dealers may not be able to offer repair but often keep track of recall information and contact numbers and manufacturer websites.
