1
Check the logo of your bag to see if it is engraved or stamped. A fake Fendi logo will be stamped on. You will be able to tell because it is usually crooked and the letters are not as precise and sharp as an engraving.
-
2
Check the lining of the bag. Fendi handbags use linings made of satin, a soft, shiny fabric. Any other fabric lining is a fake.
-
-
3
Feel the weight of the straps. Fendi straps have a leather core, so they have weight and bulk to them. A fake Fendi bag will have hollow or thin straps that are light and feel flimsy.
-
4
Check the stitching on the bag. Only a fake Fendi bag will have loose strings, uneven stitches or thread that contrasts sharply with the color of the bag.
-
5
Look for an ID tag. A real Fendi bag will have a metal ID tag on the inside of the purse, with the logo and identification number engraved on it.
