How to Get WiFi to Work on an Easy Note VX
Packard Bell's Easy Note VX was released in 2000, before wireless networks were available on laptops. As it does not have the ability to get on a WiFi network on it's own, additional hardware is necessary to achieve this. Since the Easy Note VX has USB ports, no complicated internal hardware installations are necessary. Instead, an external WiFi adapter can be attached through the USB ports.

Tips & Warnings
If you cannot find a new wireless network icon in the bottom right of your machine, the manufacturer likely chose to install software of their own to configure it. Instead, search on your desktop for your wireless adapter icon and double click on it.
