Directions for Fusion Hair Extensions
Hair extensions are a quick way to transform short hair into long hair. The popularity of hair extensions has grown tremendously over the years and as a result there are more ways of applying them. One way of applying hair extensions is using the fusion technique where the hair extension is fused with the natural hair using a keratin protein product that bonds them together. Fusion hair extensions will last for three to four months before they must be removed. Does this Spark an idea?

1
Gather the top portion of hair from the crown of the head and use a comb to create a straight part in the scalp. Clip the top portion of hair on top of the head using a clip.
-
2
Gather a small section of hair from under the part that is approximately 1/8 to 1/4 inch in diameter. Insert a plastic hair guard around the strands and press the guard flat against the head. Secure the plastic guard with a clip.

3
Place a hair extension onto the natural hair approximately 1/8 inch away from the scalp.
