How to Clean Ultrasonic Cleaners
Ultrasonic cleaners claim to be faster, more consistent and safer than other cleaning utilities. Ultrasonic cleaners clean small items and are commonly used to clean small, delicate electronic parts, automotive parts, jewelry, and used in hospitals, medical facilities and dental offices and laboratories. In order for Ultrasonic cleaners to work and clean properly, they must be properly rinsed and cleaned. Does this Spark an idea?

Cleaning Internal Parts

Fill a bucket with tap, distilled or deionized water.

Remove the Ultrasonic tank and removable basket. Submerge the items in the water.

Allow the items to soak for 30 to 60 minutes to remove all cleaning residue. Use a soft cloth to help remove any stubborn residue.

Remove the Ultrasonic tank and basket from the water. Rinse the parts in cool tap water under running water.

Dry the parts thoroughly with a towel.
External Cleaning

Wet a soft cloth with tap water. Squueze to remove excess moisture.

Wipe the outside of the Ultrasonic cleaner to remove lint and debris.

Mix 1/4 cup white vinegar with 1/4 cup warm water for deep cleaning. Deep a soft cloth in the mixture, squeeze to remove excess moisture and gently clean the outside of the cleaner.

Wipe the Ultrasonic Cleaner with a towel after cleaning to remove moisture and prevent water spots.

Tips & Warnings
Internal parts should be soaked in water when changing or refilling the cleaning solution.
Internal parts are exposed to cleaning solution constantly, so when cleaning the parts, no cleaning solution is necessary. They should be soaked to remove excess cleaning residue.
Only use a soft cloth to clean ultrasonic cleaners and parts. Other materials can scratch or damage an Ultrasonic cleaner.
