How to Make Sexy Homemade Costumes
Choosing the right Halloween costume or outfit for a costume party can be frustrating. If you want to go with a sexier costume this year, consider making your own. Making your own costume is less expensive than buying one from your local costume store, and it allows you more control over the fit of the costume. Plus, you may already have the supplies around your home to make your own costume.

- Plaid, pleated skirt
- Man's white dress shirt
- Knee high socks
- Black patent leather shoes
- School books
- Apple
- Glasses
- Bikini
- 5 feet of fake ivy
- 4 feet 1/4-inch green ribbon
- Safety pins
- Fake rubber snake

Costume One: School Girl

Wear a plaid, pleated skirt. Choose a skirt that is knee length or shorter. You can find these at thrift stores if you do not have one. Roll the skirt to make it shorter if you want a sexier look.

Wear a man's white dress shirt. Choose one that is close to your size. Roll the sleeves up to your elbows. Leave the top few buttons undone to show some cleavage. Either tuck the shirt in to your skirt, or tie the bottom front of the shirt tails into a knot at your waist. Tying the shirt off will show some of your midriff.

Wear knee-high socks. You can wear white or colored, whichever you prefer. Wear black patent leather baby doll shoe or a pair of black heels.

Put your hair into a ponytail or pigtails. Carry some books, an apple or wear a pair of black wire-frame glasses.
Costume Two: Garden of Eden

Wear a bikini. Choose one that is flesh-colored. Since you are simulating the Garden of Eden, you can use a green bikini, if you prefer, as the coverings will be green.

Drape fake ivy around your torso. You will need approximately 5 feet of the ivy for your body. If you want a bit more coverage, wrap some around your waist.

Cut 1/4-inch green ribbon into 5-inch lengths. You will need about 10 lengths. Use these lengths to tie the ivy to your bikini. Tie the ribbon around where the ivy crosses the bikini, such as the shoulder straps and back straps. Be sure to double-knot it to make it secure. If you placed ivy around your waist, use safety pins to secure it to your bikini bottom. Jump around to make sure the ivy is secure. If you find it is loose, add more safety pins and ribbon as needed.

Stick a few ivy leaves into your hair for accent.

Place a fake rubber snake around your neck to represent the serpent. Carry an apple in your hands to signify the forbidden fruit.
