Change your Internet browser's home page.

If Comcast is your Internet provider, the Comcast web page automatically becomes your home page. This page allows you to access your email account, and even notifies you of any updates available for your service. If, however, you do not want to see the update page every time you open your Internet browser, it is possible to change your home page.

Instructions

    • 1

Open your Internet browser and wait for the Comcast upgrade page to load onto the screen.

    • 2

Click the "Tools" tab at the top of the screen.

    • 3

Select "Internet Options," then choose the "General" tab.

    • 4

Choose "Address," then type in the web address you want to use as your new home page.

    • 5

Click "Accept," then "OK," and the new home page takes effect. The next time you log onto your Comcast Internet, the web browser bypasses the upgrade page.
